God Gift, this Approach
('WASILA')
Allah JSN address in Chapter 1,Section 1 of the Holy Quran;
'And even though they used to prophesy Prophet's advent when they battled with the disbelievers, '
The Jews and Christians were used to offer Allah JSN the 'Wasila' (virtue) of Prophet SAW for victory over infidels.
The virtue of Prophet SAW works while praying to Allah JS N and prays get rewarded due to this virtue.
Let we consult the hadith in this respect.
It is quoted in Multiple Ahadith books. A blind man approached to Prophet SAW and requested for vision. Prophet SAW advised that fellow to pray to Allah JSN with the following words;
Ya Allah, I request you and lean toward you, the Prophet Muhammad SAW, the Prophet of Mercy.
Ya Muhammad, I leaned towards Allah JSN with your virtue in my problem, so that it can be resolved. Allah JSN cure me of this.

It is confirmed in Noble Behqi that when the supplication was completed, the eyes were restored.
FOLLOW OF COMPANIONS OF PROPHET SAW
This perception was followed by the companions of Prophet SAW.
During the tenure of Hadrat Uthman bin Affan RA, some one had any demand with caliph. The demand was not considered by caliph even after best try by demander.
He complained this to Hadrat Uthman bin Hanif RA. Hadrat Uthman bin Hanif taught him the already quoted supplication words.
He followed the procedure and demand was fulfilled by Hadrat Uthman bin Affan RA.

SPIRITUAL PRESENCE OF PROPHET SAW
By the God Blessing, all the souls remain alive after physical death of the individual. The successful souls are free in their movement and travel as per wish of Allah JSN. The souls of prophets are supreme souls. And what about the dignity of soul of head of Prophets! That exists all over the universe.
