Definition of Polytheism (Shirk) in Holy Quran
The unitarianism and polytheism are two 180 degree opposite beliefs.
The unitarianism is beauty of this universe and polytheism is the curse of this universe.
The definition of unitarianism in Islam is that no one deserves worship without Almighty Allah JSN.
23. Your Lord has decreed that you shall not worship except Him, and your parents shall be honored.
So any one who worships Allah JSN is unitarian and any one who worships also to others is Polytheist.
MISUNDERSTANDINGS CREATED BY MATERIALISTS
The materialists improvise this simple belief and argue so many perceptions that this is shirk, that is shirk. For example they claim that to call any one is also a shirk. They argue with the verses like following.
In verses like these the call means worship. Because if we say that simply calling is 'shirk' then Holy Quran shall never quote verses like this.

SPIRITUAL PRESENCE OF PROPHET SAW
By the God Blessing, all the souls remain alive after physical death of the individual. The successful souls are free in their movement and travel as per wish of Allah JSN. The souls of prophets are supreme souls. And what about the dignity of soul of head of Prophets! That exists all over the universe.
